Jennifer, thanks for stopping by. Some people/readers/authors love what we do and some think that we’re Mean Girls. Can’t please everyone. I still see some NeXt books for sale at the Harlequin site but not in any bookstores lately. Are you still writing for Harlequin?

Thanks for the review and the comments. I loved the NeXt line, sorry to see it’s gone defunct, think/hope readers will miss it. Also want to say: love this site. Just found it. Love hear how readers see books and characters and story ideas. It’s different than how authors approach the same subjects (even though, heaven knows, I’m a reader, too.) Really like what your’e doing here…

Speaking as a Harlequin Series Community host, no, NEXT is not defunct. :) Only Bombshell went down in 2006. The numbers per month have decreased, but for now, NEXT is still holding up.

I’ve noticed quite a few NEXT books whenever I go to Waldenbooks but it seems like (at least in this store) lots of them are from months ago.

I don’t think it’s defunct, just going down to 3 books per month from 4. But I could be wrong.
