REVIEW: Books for Thanksgiving Giveaway

I have a bunch of books lying around here. Yes, there are alot of Berkeley/Signet books, but the reason is because Penguin sends me them so I am giving them away. The deal is you just have to comment anywhere on the site until Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving, I’ll go to random.org and punch in the number of total commenters and then random.org will spit out a list of numbers and I’ll just go down the list and assign a book to the winner. You can certainly put by your comment what book you’d like. I’ll put up a list of books later today.

That’s nice! I’m going to have to come out of lurk and try to post, too. I’m a much better reader than a writer so I tend to lurk. I agonize over what to write. lol

If I win, I would like either Bit the Jackpot, Harmony’s Way, Unleashed, Prince of Ice or Open Invitation. That’s a big list, yes?

I love the idea of detailing all of the great things about romance. I’m a sucker for the happy ending. (But I’ll be happy to get back to the “curmudgeons” after Thanksgiving too!)

That’s a great idea, and very generous of you.

Just in case–you never know…–if I’m one of the lucky winners I’d love to get Meljean Brook’s Demon Angel. Waiting till 2007 is torture after reading the two excerpts.

The Annette Blair book sounds like it could be fun. If my number should come up on Turkey Day I would love that book or the impossible to find Charlene Teglia.

    Thanks!

Meljean Brook’s Demon Angel! I’m dying to check that book out. It’s an interesting pretext, and while paranormals are usually my favorite, the genre’s been a little worn out lately. ;)

Ooh no one has asked for Lynn Kurlands book-that would be my top choice.

How nice. I could go for the Holly, Brook or McCarthy, or Leigh book. or Unleashed. Then again, aside from Lora Leigh & Emma Holly, I haven’t read any of these authors, so I’m up for anything. Thanks Ja(y)nes!

For those of you who are asking about the Charlene Teglia book, remember that it’s only going to be out as an ebook in December. I think it will be in print later but I don’t know when.

I’m thankful to wake up everyday, grateful to still have some of my wits about me…and the possibilty of free books for a reading/writing addict? Yowza. Just read your Jo Beverly review. She is the mistress of all she commands. Her latest book featuring Dare was outstanding. She is a smart writer, whose intelligence and historical research elevates the usual romantic conventions. She’s an auto-buy for me. I’m not familiar with all of the authors on your list, but I’m easy—pick me for anything!

First Ellora’s Cave starts releasing a book a day, now you have books to give away! No question, I’d love to have Lora’s Leigh’s Harmony’s Way. I love Emma Holly and the “Unleashed” anthology looked good too!

This is the first year we have an empty next and no company for Thanksgiving. For the first time in my life, I expect we’ll go out to a restaurant for dinner. But there is an upside: no company to entertain, lots of time to read, read, read!

This is great! I’d love any book, but I’ve a particular hankering to read Meljean Brook’s Demon Angel. 2nd choice, Kathryn Caskie’s How to Seduce a Duke…..3rd, Warlard Poster by Elizabeth Vaughn. Very cool. Thanks! (i’m crossing my fingers and sending happy thoughts to the Gods of Random Choice) :)
