Yes, it was a bittersweet ending wasn’t it? Although I found it refreshing in a way, after so many acceptable HEAs. *g* And no one died at the end except the bad guy! ;-) Glad to hear these books will satisfy the romantic in me, though.

Nicole - I obviously didn’t mind the unresolved issues because I felt the main love story had a satisfactory ending. Aren’t the last three paragraphs of the book swoon worthy?

K - I think you would really like this it does have some world building issues that others pointed out but they never bothered me.

Dance Chica - I hope you like this series. Shinn is really one of my favorite authors.

Jaye - This book has a much more satisfying romantic ending compared to the Shape changer’s wife which I thought was lovely but bittersweet.

I’m goning to have to hunt these books down. I read the Shape Changer’s Wife earlier this year and loved it. These books sound along the same lines.

I just finished this earlier this week and really enjoyed it. I’d more probably give it an B+ because although I liked the resolution of Senneth and Tayse’s relationship (well, of a sorts), I didn’t like how some of the other plot threads were dropped. I know this is a series, but the ending felt a bit too happy for me knowing all the nasty things that were still out to get the main characters.
