This is a video of a number of authors on the subject of sex in books: Erica Jong on writing about sex as a way of finding answers, Lawrence Block on the definition of erotica, Patricia Gaffney on historical romances, Suzanne Forster on the importance of sexual tension, and Eileen Goudge on the eighty-year-old woman who told her, “If I can’t do it, I want to read about it.”

Additionally 20% of Kindle bestsellers are from the KDP program.

To handle the influx of requests from individual authors (not publishers), we’ve developed a handy form for authors to use to submit their books.  Form here.  Currently and in the past, I’ve had authors email me and I’ve used my best judgment in turning away books or forwarding them on.  I don’t believe that was the best way to get the books in front of the right reviewer.  Using this form allows all the reviewers to review the requests and respond accordingly.  Thanks!
