VIDEO REVIEW: Courtesan’s Daughter by Claudia Dain, All Four Parts
And you thought we would never finish (me too frankly). I actually had a post in draft that said “I’m sorry but we’ve come to the conclusion that three parts is enough for any video review.” But last night we dragged ourselves into the dungeon and finished our project.
You can read the text review here of The Courtesan’s Daughter which can be purchased in trade paperback. Or just watch the interpretive Lego video. Will there be another Lego video review? Not bloody likely.

No! Say it aint’ so!
Btw, I get an error message when clicking on the video: “We’re sorry, but this video is no longer available.”

I just uploaded it and it usually takes about 20 minutes to process.

I guess I’m just really really eager to see what the Legos are up to next, lol.
Oct 19, 2007 @ 15:27:50
It’s working now. Don’t get too excited. I think the middle was the most entertaining with the chase and the humping. We kind of petered out toward the end.
Oct 19, 2007 @ 15:28:32
I wondered if we’d ever see the end!
Please say you’ll do another. That was the best thing I’ve seen since…well, your first video review. :)

OMG, Diddo!
Love especially this part: “But what did you THINK?” “I liked it. Let’s move on.”
Classic!
See, you really have to do more Lego reviews now, given how awesome they are.

I really loved it! I’d been waiting and waiting for part 4. I didn’t care how long it was as long as it ended. Because if you hadn’t finished it, I’d be wondering.
I think I’m going to try to book out now even though I’m not really a Historical book reader. Do you think when I’m reading, I’ll see stick figures in my mind? *g*
Oct 19, 2007 @ 16:36:22
Yes, I meant Lego figures. My mind is gone today. :oP

Great job!!! I think Part 1 and Part 3 were my favorites, but the whole thing is wonderful. If there are to be no more lego reviews :( I hope there will at least be more stick drawing reviews sometime. The Ned and Jane collaborations are some of my very favorite reviews here.
Oct 19, 2007 @ 17:39:37
Why does the way Ned speak remind me of Ranger from the Stephanie Plum books?
Oct 19, 2007 @ 17:58:06
Well done guys! My favourite part was definitely the chase! Fantastic!
Oct 19, 2007 @ 18:05:53
Diddo!!!
*rofl*
This was absolutely fantastic.
Oct 19, 2007 @ 19:13:00
Oh noes! You must! You must!
Oct 19, 2007 @ 19:30:15
Loved it! And I howled at DIDDO.
Thanks for taking the time to do this, Jane!
Oct 19, 2007 @ 20:39:01
Yes, diddo was awesome. Thanks for posting part 4!
Oct 19, 2007 @ 22:04:12
*sniffing sadly at the end of the Lego review* Brilliant!!!!! And the diddo. That was indeed priceless.
Oct 20, 2007 @ 07:53:54
Awesome!
PS. Diddo. OMG!
Oct 20, 2007 @ 09:00:06
Well, if it is to be the only Lego video review, at least it was awesome! I agree with Janine that the reviews you and Ned do are some of my favorites. And “Diddo”- hilarious!
Oct 20, 2007 @ 16:56:38
I am very sad. I can’t seem to get the videos to work. At all. Ever. What should I do? I want to experience teh awesome, too!
Oct 21, 2007 @ 14:35:52
I’m suitably impressed with the work this took AND its cleverness. If it has to be a lonely only lego video…it’s a good one.

Art, pure art. Loved it. :)
