Thanking our January Advertisers

Each month, we have a new slate of advertisements and the advertisements help to fund things like giveaways of books and readers and to keep the blog running smooth.  Without the sponsorship funds, running the blog would be more difficult.  We have a new sponsor for the year of 2012.  Random House will be highlighting a few releases they hope will grab your attention.

Jane I hope you have the time to read Whispers in the Dark by Maya Banks. I liked it but I laughed because it has your (and my) favorite type of sex scene:

The heroine was kidnapped, drugged, beaten, had escaped and run barefooted through the woods, used a knife to cut out the tracking device implanted in her leg by the bad guys and then — after a shower — wanted sex with the hero to make her feel okey-dokey.

Ah, the romance genre, heroines are so resilient!

@joanne: There is nothing like the magical ability of the penis to solve everything!
