RT Blogger Con Announcement
It’s official: the RT Book Blogger Convention is on the RT site, and we have a registration form ready to go! REGISTRATION LINK.
A few important points:
1. Registration is $30.00. Registration is not confirmed until payment is received. The fee covers breakfast, lunch, and a full day of panel discussions.
2. We’re handling payments via Paypal so as to welcome people who are outside the US who may like to attend and will be paying in currency more colorful than ours. If you’d like to pay via check, please email Sarah at sarah@smartbitchestrashybooks.com.
3. This conference is for book bloggers and book reviewers. You do not have to have your own website or blog. GoodReads reviewers, for example, are welcome.
4. Space is limited to 30 participants and registration is first-come, first-served.
We are working on the schedule of panels now, and want to organize a day of discussion that’s worthwhile for everyone. We probably chat with each other a good part of each day, but seeing one another in person and talking about what we have in common is a powerful thing, and we want to make the most of the time we have. If you have ideas or suggestions for a panel or topic, please let us know. You can email us at sarah@smartbitchestrashybooks.com and litte.jane@gmail.com.

Hm. That sounds interesting.
Must attendees wear cardigans?
Dec 06, 2012 @ 10:23:56
Yes and pencil skirts. We are giving a discount to everyone who wears pearls, cardigans and pencil skirts.

Sold!

Just for the record, am kidding about the discount.

@Jane:
Ugh. Got me all excited for a moment.

If we dress like the woman in the logo, do we get a discount?

I am sad to miss this but I am taking my kids to Korea to see hubby. If I attended, I would wear an Aloha shirt instead of cardigan, capris instead of pencil skirt, and kukui nut lei instead of pearls!

What a great idea. Wish I could be there.
