WINNERS of the Erin McCarthy Flat Out Sexy Contest

For Dear Author, here are the ten readers who won a copy of Erin McCarthy’s book, Flat Out Sexy, the first book in the Smart Bitch/Dear Author “Save the Contemporary” Campaign.

  • Moth
  • Allison
  • ArkansasCyndi
  • Darby
  • Heidi
  • Kay Sisk
  • Lori
  • Sara Andrade
  • Sarai
  • Zoe Archer

I’ve emailed you, I think.   If not, please send me your snail mail address.   Since we are going to be running this “Campaign” again, let me know what you think of the Sprout widget.   Too slow to load?   Too large?   Couldn’t read the excerpt (that was kind of a problem for me that I realized late in the game)?   Not very intuitive?

Jane Litte is the founder of Dear Author, a lawyer, and a lover of pencil skirts. She self publishes NA and contemporaries (and publishes with Berkley and Montlake) and spends her downtime reading romances and writing about them. Her TBR pile is much larger than the one shown in the picture and not as pretty. You can reach Jane by email at jane @ dearauthor dot com

    Congratulations, everyone!

RE: the widget — after some feedback, I made two widgets: one that will fit in a sidebar, and then a 300×300 for readers to post in the main part of their blogs. I never considered that it might go into a sidebar, because I’d only seen them in the main blog section. So perhaps having an option of sizes would be helpful?

I didn’t enter the contest part, but I posted the info on my blog linking back here, using just the graphic image. Didn’t even check out the widget~the graphic was easier and it was late when I did it.

So my only request would be to keep a graphic option…for those like me who like it easy.

Thank you DA and congratulations to the winners!

As for the widget, I’m going to attempt to upload it on the weekend. I say attempt, because there is a first time for everything :)

I guess I’d better go console myself with one of Erin McCarthy’s “deadly sins” books, ’cause I’m suffering from all kinds of envy toward the winners.

Oh, and order my own darn copy of Flat Out Sexy, of course.

    Congrats, luckies!

YAY on being a book winner.

On the widget…I had to enlarge the sidebar of my blog for it to “fit”. And of course, I didn’t think about shrinking it to fit my blog! LOL

Thanks!! No email from you, so I’ll shoot you one now…

As for the widget, my only complaint was that iwas a bit large, but otherwise simple, and no problem at all. Thanks a million for this contest, BTW. I’m always looking for more more more contemporaries!

Whoops! Just realized that there were about 4 Loris who commented, so since I didn’t get an email from you, it probably wasn’t me, LOL!! So congrats to the other Lori (whoever you are) and all the other winners!
