November Device Giveaway – Kindle Fire

Kindle Fire

I was debating what to giveaway this month and in cleaning out my drawers I found a brand new un opened Kindle Fire that I had purchased during a sale earlier this year. So guess what? Yup, this month’s device giveaway is a Kindle Fire. Last month’s winners are announced on the rafflecopter and have been emailed.

For newbies, this is a monthly giveaway we host as a thank you for using our affiliate links. Whenever you click through to Amazon, we get a small percentage (around 7%) of each purchase. We really appreciate it as it keeps our Dear Author engine running.

You can enter by either liking our Facebook page, following us on Twitter, or leaving a blog post comment.

I am thankful that I got to spend three months with my mother and take her on a trip to Hawaii, and buy her an eReader – she rediscovered the joy of reading and now reads as much as I do. There is so much to be thankful for!

I don’t know if I want to be thankful for having been born at the end of November. Somehow having the retail industry transform that period of the month into a few days of chaos and disorder that causes stress, insanity, and possible injuries and/or death doesn’t seem like a good way to celebrate the anniversary of my birth…

But I am thankful for my friends and the fact that I am still here…?

Books and health insurance. Books for distracting me from how much it hurts and health insurance so I can afford the physical therapy I needed to get better!
I’m also thankful that my toddler will be nice to my phone, even if not to physical books. I use my kindle app all the time now since he always wants to read with me and that somehow always involves tearing the pages, but he knows to be nice to the phone.

And to you at dear author, for reviewing Julia Quinn. Even though you never like the new series as much as I do, it makes me think about why I like them so much.

I’m so grateful for all of my friends (online and off) and my family. I’m also especially grateful and thankful for the sacrifice my aunt is making this year of donating her kidney in December to my dad. I can’t even express in words how much I love both of them and how much it means to me for my aunt to be willing to give part of herself up so that my dad can be with us a long time. There just are no words, thank you is so inadequate.
