But she is paying the price for her old ways. Her rich, powerful and abusive husband has disappeared leaving her to deal with an FBI probe of his investment firm. She’s not only penniless, but her husband has left her to face all the townspeople that he cheated….

  28. Lindsay
    Nov 19, 2013 @ 14:34:36

Honestly, all I want for the holidays is to get to spend some time with my extended family, we missed Thanksgiving this year so I haven’t seen everyone together in a year, and I love to see everyone together, it’s such an overwhelmingly loving time of year and I am so happy to be a part of an extended family that genuinely loves one another, even if we live a good distance apart.

I wouldn’t mind book money or books, my cat’s surgery this fall ate up most of my discretionary spending, but I am awfully grateful to have her healthy, happy and likely with a long life ahead of her. Poor dear. She’d like more cat treats!

You guys are awesome. It’s not the holidays until I’m reading Christmas novels. :)

It’s hard for me to come up with something that I want for Christmas. I have pretty much everything that I could want, and my family is even taking a trip down to South Carolina (my MiL’s gift to us). Maybe what I wish for is a trip with no family drama, and a semi-peaceful car-ride down there.
