I love Susanna Kearsley! Her books are so well-written and emotionally satisfying. I’m notoriously crusty but she’s even made tears come into my eyes (very rare indeed – I didn’t even cry when ET phoned home). I hope Sourcebooks plans to reissue some of her older/OOP titles. There are a few I haven’t read that I’m dying to get my hands on without going bankrupt. I’d love to check out Terry Spears and Sarah Castille too; I love a good shifter book and MMA fighters = hot.

I don’t really pay attention to the publisher. The only Sourcebooks author I can think of off the top of my head is Georgette Heyer, since they did those re-issues recently (which were lovely and I bought several of them). I guess Susanna Kearsley, but that feels like cheating even more than saying Heyer, because I only know she’s a Sourcebooks author because of this post ;).

For readers who like young adult books, well-written books, or 80s books, I highly recommend Eleanor and Park. I led a teen book club discussion of this book, and it kept us talking for over an hour – and on topic! This is pretty unheard of for my group.
