The first app I’d install on an ipad would be my Kindle reader. Then Netflix. Then leave me alone for a month because between those two, I need nothing else :)

Jeez, a single app, when there are so many good ideas already suggested here from which to choose? (I’ve already opened multiple browser tabs to research the apps that are new to me!) I do own an ebook reader, so – with no experience of apps – I suppose that I’d start with a map, er … app, for travel convenience. And learn more of what I like by trial.

So, presuming the iPad Mini already comes with an iBooks app, next app I’d install would be the Kindle app. Then I’d be checking to see if BlueFire Reader had an app for iThings. Paprika – it’s a recipe database that’s really great. Hubby & I cook a lot, and this is a great tool for recipe tracking. You can import directly from websites and email recipes to friends from right inside the app. That is probably the 1st app I’d load, since the iPad comes pre-loaded with all the basics. Plus, my very old 1st generation iPad is very nearly dead… so a new mini would be great!
