THE DARKEST HOUR, Maya Banks
We just had a terrific giveaway for THE DARKEST HOUR on Dear Author accompanied by a great review from Jane, but I just can’t resist talking about THE DARKEST HOUR again. It’s the first book in Maya’s bold new KGI series and it takes readers on a whirlwind of emotions, highlighted by pulse-pounding action. I love stories of reunited lovers, and Maya delivers one of the best in THE DARKEST HOUR.

IMMORTAL SEA, Virginia Kantra
Virginia Kantra is back with the fourth book in her Children of the Sea series, and IMMORTAL SEA is also the beginning of a new trilogy within the series. Many readers may remember Morgan from previous books, and he had an especially memorable appearance in Virginia’s novella “Shifting Sea” in the anthology BURNING UP. Morgan is an absolutely delicious hero, and this immortal finally meets his match in IMMORTAL SEA. The Children of the Sea series is one of my all-time favorites, and I’m thrilled Virginia decided to tell Morgan’s story.

WICKED SURRENDER, Jade Lee
For those readers looking for a dark, sexy, compelling historical, look no further than WICKED SURRENDER. Set against the world of the theater, it features a strong, complex heroine and a seductive, bad boy hero that is impossible to resist.

FORBIDDEN, Christina Phillips
FORBIDDEN is Christina’s first book, and it takes place in Roman Britain with a Druid heroine who falls in love with someone forbidden to her–a Roman centurion. Imaginative, scorchingly hot and still wildly romantic, FORBIDDEN is a grand debut.

THE IRON DUKE, Meljean Brook
Readers got a taste of Meljean’s bold new steampunk world of the Iron Seas in her novella, “Here There Be Monsters” (also in BURNING UP) and I haven’t come across a single reader who read the novella and who isn’t now dying to read THE IRON DUKE. Steampunk is a new concept for many romance readers (for more on steampunk see Meljean’s interview on Dear Author) but Meljean puts her unique spin on steampunk by combining it with passionate, exquisitely emotional romance.

THE ACCIDENTAL WEDDING, Anne Gracie
National bestselling author Anne Gracie is back with another Regency-set luscious historical romance–this time, about a man who wakes up after an accident in a country cottage, where he is nursed back to health by an innocent beauty and five not-so-innocent orphaned children. Anne’s storytelling talent really sparkles in this romance.

SINFUL IN SATIN, Madeline Hunter
The next in Madeline’s spectacular New York Times bestselling quartet that began with RAVISHING IN READ and PROVOCATIVE IN PEARLS. Celia, the daughter of a famed London courtesan, was trained in the art of pleasure…but she’s about to get her first lesson in love.

LUCK BE A LADY, Cathie Linz
Known for her injecting her stories with equal doses of warmth and humor, Cathie’s talents are on full display in her latest contemporary romance. In LUCK BE A LADY, the librarian heroine ends up on a road trip across Nevada with the cop hero, and the results are worthy of a classic 30′s screwball romantic comedy–sheer delight!

November

A BEWITCHING BRIDE, Elizabeth Thornton
From the late, great Elizabeth Thornton comes this final, wonderful historical romance, the third in an irresistible trilogy about three Scotsmen with psychic abilities. Gavin Hepburn has yet to use his powers, but from the moment he lays eyes on Kate, he knows he has found the young beauty he has been sent to save.

PLAY OF PASSION, Nalini Singh
I know lots of readers who are eagerly awaiting the next Psy-Changeling romance, and believe me, it’s worth the wait. It’s a book completely set in the Snow Dancer den, and the romance between Snow Dancer lieutenant Indigo and pack member Drew is as delicious as a box of finest truffles. More so, because it’s completely calorie-free and you can read it again and again with none of the guilt!

ENEMY WITHIN, Marcella Burnard
In this terrific debut novel by Marcella Burnard, starship Captain Alexandra Rose is clinging to her shattered past and can't afford the desire pirate leader Cullen fires within her. Cullen is only out to protect his empire but must join forces with a woman he can't resist to defeat a threat beyond the scope of the imagination. A brand-new voice in sci-fi romance, Marcella weaves a tale full of steamy romance and fast-paced action that readers won't want to miss.

DEADLY INTENT, Kylie Brant
Acclaimed author Kylie Brant is back with a new book in her Mind Hunters romantic suspense series, DEADLY INTENT. It’s riveting and masterful, truly romantic suspense at it’s best, as two investigators race against time and a Colorado blizzard to find a girl who’s been abducted from her home–for the second time.
