I am gathering the publishing lists of houses for 2011. I know, 2011 is nearly half way over, but better late than never. This list is from Kensington. To celebrate the publication of this list, Kensington is giving away 1 print copy of the following books. Browse through the table, bookmark the link for future reference, and leave a comment about a Kensington title that you are either interested in or would recommend (no need to limit it to 2011). I’ll close this contest on Friday night at 8 pm cst and announce the winners on Saturday.

- VIENNA WALTZ by Teresa Grant
- STARFIRE by Kate Douglas
- BLUE ANGEL by Logan Belle
- BIG BAD BEAST by Shelly Laurenston
- TOUCH OF A THIEF by Mia Marlowe
- RIVALS IN THE TUDOR COURT by D.L. Bogdan
- DEMON HUNTING IN DIXIE by Lexi George
- NOWHERE NEAR RESPECTABLE by Mary Jo Putney
- SONG OF THE SILK ROAD by Mingmei Yip
My Kensington comment is this. Robin is a big fan of Shelly Laurentson. When I received the finished copy, I snuck a peak at the first few chapters. It’s classic Laurentson, funny and over the top; but in the first few chapters, I was intrigued enough to buy Beast Behaving Badly because it features an OCD hero and a crazy heroine (who apparently thrills in drawing hearts and flowers all over the hero’s lists).

Also, I love Cynthia Eden’s paranormal titles published by Kensington. Hot and intelligent.
May 02, 2011 @ 10:23:20

Great Giveaway!
I would love a chance to win My Favorite Countess by Vanessa Kelly
May 02, 2011 @ 13:04:46
I love Mary Jo Putney and Jo Beverley and Susan Andersen and… well, historicals and contemporary and let’s see… and werewolves in there? I love shapeshifters. What else? Oh, most of them :)
May 02, 2011 @ 13:08:09
I just ordered Laurenston’s book (have all of the books in that series) and can’t wait to read it. Of the others Douglas’s Starfire and Putney’s No Where Near Respectable is on my hitlist too!
May 02, 2011 @ 13:21:53
I read Mistress by Mistake earlier this year, and am intrigued enough to want to read Mistress by Mistake, as well.
May 02, 2011 @ 13:25:27
I’m looking forward to reading Mistress by Midnight by Maggie Robinson, The Perfect Mistress by Victoria Alexander and The Bargain by Mary Jo Putney.
May 02, 2011 @ 13:26:54
I’m looking forward to the new Alexandra Ivy book, but I’ve always had a soft spot for Mary Jo Putney books, so would like to read Nowhere Near Respectable.
May 02, 2011 @ 13:31:10
I would like to hop on the Big Bad Beast bandwagon! :-D
May 02, 2011 @ 13:36:03

May 02, 2011 @ 13:49:40

May 02, 2011 @ 13:49:49
Oh, I’d go for Seaborn. Sounds very interesting!
May 02, 2011 @ 13:50:47
Starfire! I love some of Kate’s other books and Starfire sounds great. These are some great books coming out in 2011. Thanx for the update on them.
May 02, 2011 @ 14:01:12
I’d love to read Mary Jo Putney’s Nowhere Near Respectable as I’ve enjoyed a few of her previous books.
May 02, 2011 @ 14:04:44
I’ve already read the Laurenston and loved it so I choose NOWHERE NEAR RESPECTABLE by Mary Jo Putney since I cut my romance reading chops on her early works.
May 02, 2011 @ 14:22:20
Teresa Grant is aka Tracy Grant and this I think is the book she has been required to change the names of her sleuthing couple for some reason that probably has to do with the bookstore sell through on her last New York published book. I did buy Mask of Night last month when someone mentioned she had self published it on Kindle.
May 02, 2011 @ 14:45:23
I think Big Bad Beast by Shelly Laurenston or Starfire by Kate Douglas would be great.
May 02, 2011 @ 14:47:00
I LOVED Beast Behaving Badly, so much I had to read it twice. But the main female character of Big Bad Beast was a jerk in it, so I’m not sure I want to buy her story. But if I won it then I wouldn’t have to spend the money to try it out!
May 02, 2011 @ 15:07:13
There’s some excellent books out there! In order of requests: NOWHERE NEAR RESPECTABLE by Mary Jo Putney or BIG BAD BEAST by Shelly Laurenston. Of course, any of the other books would be fine, too.
May 02, 2011 @ 15:09:56
Since I have Big Bad Beast already(ebook and print), I can only say I highly recommend it. But I have to say Sarah W., that we have had some interesting hints about Dee-Ann along the way and she has been interesting. She had the same tendencies she has had in prior books, but you get more details and background. And really, you need to read it for the scene at her apartment. It was so funny.
I enjoyed it and honestly felt like I do at the end of all her books, where is the next one!
May 02, 2011 @ 15:26:08
Lovin’ Blue by Zuri Day sounds good. Who wouldn’t want to be seduced by a hot cop? ;-)
May 02, 2011 @ 15:32:13
I read a sneak peak of Sylvia Day’s “Pride and Pleasure” and was very interested in reading more. (Kensington, might you like to discount the ebook? $14 is a bit much . . .)And I have heard good things about Shelley Laurenston but have yet to read one of her stories.
May 02, 2011 @ 15:33:22
Ohh lots of books to choose from. Hmm I think I’d pick Starfire Kate Douglas
May 02, 2011 @ 15:45:36
There are a few that I am looking forward to reading or have already read. I am really looking forward to reading Fated by Rebecca Zanetti, The Perfect Mistress by Victoria Alexander, Starfire by Kate Douglas, A Touch of a Theif by Mia Marlowe, and My Favorite Countess by Vanessa Kelly to name a few.
I would love a copy of either STARFIRE by Kate Douglas or TOUCH OF A THIEF by Mia Marlowe
May 02, 2011 @ 16:05:50
I’m really looking forward to Shannon Mckenna’s new release. I’ve loved all of her books.
I’m also interested in Shelly Laurenston. I’ve been hearing good things about her writing.
May 02, 2011 @ 16:09:25
I’ve been wanting to try a Shelly Laurenston novel so now seems like a good time. Plus, I’m always up for a Shannon Mckenna novel.
May 02, 2011 @ 16:23:28
I would love to try NOWHERE NEAR RESPECTABLE by Mary Jo Putney It sounds like something I would love!
Thanks!
May 02, 2011 @ 16:25:14
Love to enter for Vienna Waltz by Teresa Grant, having liked her Tracy Grant books a lot. Agree Shelly Laurenston books are a hoot, particulary like her Aiken dragon books. Have that Putney now, a favorite author – highly recommend her older The Rake (aka The Rake and the Reformer), and her Fallen Angel series.
May 02, 2011 @ 16:44:10
Oh, wow! This is really helpful! Thanks for all of your work, Jane!
The Kensington book I’m most interested in reading is Changeling Moon by Dani Harper. The Kensington book I’m most interesting in reading for this giveaway is NOWHERE NEAR RESPECTABLE by MARY JO PUTNEY. I’ve never read her before (yes, I know, Live Under a Rock “R” Us) & I’m trying to add more historical romances to my literary diet.
May 02, 2011 @ 17:06:27
TOUCH OF A THIEF by Mia Marlowe sounds like it would keep me up all night reading, but wonderful nonetheless. :)
May 02, 2011 @ 17:30:54
I’d be interested in the Laurenston – I keep hearing great things about the series and I’ve been meaning to try it.
May 02, 2011 @ 17:40:39
Add me to the pack of (howling?) Laurenston readers, since I’d also love to read Big Bad Beast. Or Demon Hunting in Dixie by Lexi George, Touch of a Thief by Mia Marlowe, or even Blue Angel by Logan Belle — although finding yourself unexpectedly on stage doing a striptease sounds more like a nightmare, not a plot point!

May 02, 2011 @ 18:47:51
I’d like to give Shelly Laurenston at try after everyone commenting so positively!! and I haven’t read the MJ Putney one yet, either!

There are so many great authors to choose from. Sands, Davidson and Howell are some of my favorites.
May 02, 2011 @ 19:31:47
Great list of books.
I’m interested in Bastian: The Lords of Satyr by Elizabeth Amber.
May 02, 2011 @ 19:40:34
•TOUCH OF A THIEF by Mia Marlowe
A new author for me–story line and characters sound terrific!
May 02, 2011 @ 20:07:05
All of the books sound great, but I would love to receive a copy of Big Bad Beast by Shelly Laurenston!
May 02, 2011 @ 20:17:15
I’d love to win/read the new Mia Marlowe book.
As for other recommendations, Mary Jo Putney’s Lost Lord’s series is terrific–I have the new one on order already.
May 02, 2011 @ 20:48:20
Great giveaway! I would love a chance to win MY FAVORITE COUNTESS by Vanessa Kelly or DEADLY LITTLE SECRETS by Jeanne Adams. Thank you for the chance!
May 02, 2011 @ 20:48:52
I would love Blue Angel.
May 02, 2011 @ 21:01:27
I’ve been looking at Logan Belle’s Blue Angel since it involves a neo-burlesque lounge.
May 02, 2011 @ 21:35:29
I’d like to read Vienna Waltz by Teresa Grant because it got an excellent review in the Historical Novels Review.
May 02, 2011 @ 21:50:54
I would like BIG BAD BEAST by Shelly Laurenston. Shelly’s books are always great reads!
May 02, 2011 @ 21:53:06
I can recommend Beverley Kendall’s A Taste of Desire, and I’m looking forward to reading Diane Whiteside’s The Shadow Guard, Erica Ridley’s Too Sinful to Deny, Mia Marlow’s Touch of a Thief, and Vanessa Kelly’s My Favorite Countess.
May 02, 2011 @ 22:34:35
Ooh what a great giveaway.
Dianne Duvall’s Darkness Dawns was recommended by a friend, so I’d like to give that one a shot.
May 02, 2011 @ 22:37:52
Three of my all-time fave authors – Lucy Monroe, Shelly Laurentson, and Sylvia Day – I read anything by them. Since I’ve already read Pride and Pleasure, I’d love to get my hands on either Deal with This or Big Bad Beast. And if you haven’t read Pride and Pleasure yet, you should soon!
May 02, 2011 @ 22:40:31
@Susan Laura — Pride & Pleasure e-book is discounted — it was around $8.50 when I bought it for my Nook.
I’m looking forward to Mia Marlowe’s Touch of a Thief. I loved her Emily Bryan books.
Tangentially, does anyone know where Hilary Sares landed? I remember she left Kensington Aphrodisia a few years ago, and I’m curious if she’s still editing/acquiring books (and if so, who, because I’d buy their books!)
May 02, 2011 @ 23:47:39
I have been looking forward to reading •TOUCH OF A THIEF by Mia Marlowe for EVEA! Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of this!

What a great list of books. Starfire, Darkness Unleashed, Darkness Dawns are a few I cant wait to get.
May 03, 2011 @ 00:46:37
I’d love to get VIENNA WALTZ by Teresa Grant. Her book DAUGHTER OF THE GAME was the best book I read that year. Brilliant author!!
May 03, 2011 @ 02:50:25
I’ve seen Beast Behaving Badly around but after all this time it is still expensive even in the secondhand market… gotta love a snarky heroine who drives the hero up-the-wall insane :)
May 03, 2011 @ 06:51:44
I would love to get hold of “Nowhere near respectable”. From the other titles on the list, I would recommend “A bargain” to someone else – it’s firmly on my keeper shelf, along with many other Putneys.
May 03, 2011 @ 07:55:38
Wow – what a great list (I can’t believe how many I’ve read)!
I would love to read “Touch of a Thief” by Mia Marlowe.
May 03, 2011 @ 08:14:21
Thanks for the giveaway! I am dying to try to the Shelley Laurenston book!
May 03, 2011 @ 08:14:28
I would recommend both of Mary Burton’s romantic suspense novels, Senseless and Merciless. I am pretty picky about romantic suspense since sometimes the actions of the hero and heroine don’t make a lot of sense but these were good and kept me guessing.
May 03, 2011 @ 08:16:44
I would recommend Senseless and Merciless by Mary Burton.
May 03, 2011 @ 08:36:41
I’d love the one by Mingmei Yip, Song of the Silk Road. I’m a sucker for the unusual historical.
May 03, 2011 @ 08:43:50
I would like to win Big Bad Beast. Thanks for the giveaway. Tore923@aol.com

May 03, 2011 @ 10:38:23
Mia Marlowe & Lexi George would be my choice(s)! Thanks Jane.
May 03, 2011 @ 10:44:43
I’d like to win Big Bad Beast by Shelly Laurenston. I’ve read her since she was “only” pubbed in ebook format and she always has great characters and makes me laugh.
I will check out several from this list, including Mary Burton. I have been on the lookout for some new to me authors. TY for these publications lists. It’s great to have to keep up with my favorites!
May 03, 2011 @ 10:54:46
MJ Putney. I only recently really got into her books. That Laurentson sounds fun too, I may need to check it out as well. Thanks for posting the list!
May 03, 2011 @ 11:41:03
