USA Today Bestseller List, Week Ending October 07, 2007

Mine Till Midnight by Lisa Kleypas is number one at Bookscan Romance list this week and appeared at No. 5 on the USAToday list. Despite last week being a release week, there are few new entries into the list and two that dropped out. I was wrong in predicting that Deanna Favre’s book would be in the top 10. I think I superimposed my own interest in her book and the general public’s interest in her.

The biggest and nicest surprise was to see C.L. Wilson’s debut novel, Lord of the Fading Lands, in the top 150. She should have a nice bump next month when the sequel comes out.

I freely confess that I bought Lord of the Fading Lands based on your review here primarily. I have no idea when I’ll actually get to it, since I have a TBR mountain, but DA did turn me on to the book.
