USA Today Besteller List, Week Ending March 4, 2007

Most of the titles were debuting on the list this week with last week being replete with new releases from Avon and Harlequin. Even those books that weren’t supposed to be released until this past Tuesday appeared such as J.R. Ward’s Lover Revealed.

What was most interesting in typing this out is that Random House’s releases from both the Ballantine and the Bantam Dell imprints are a dollar less per book than every other house at $6.99. Limiting your purchase to Random House and you are exercising a more than 10% off per book sale anywhere you shop. See the USA Today Booklist site for the full list.

Deadly Game, Christine Feehan, Jove, $7.99, No. 2 (debut).
Morning Comes Softly, Debbie Macomber, Avon, $7.99, No. 3 (debut). This is reprint is one of Keishon’s favorite Macomber books.
McKettrick’s Pride, Linda Lael Miller (HQN), $7.99, No. 11 (Peak 11).
Hey, Good Looking, Fern Michaels, Pocket, $7.99, No. 16 (debut). The blurb reads like a romance but I’ve always thought Michaels was more woman’s fictiony? Incorrect assumption?

Innocent in Death, J.D.Robb, Putnam, $25.95, No. 20 (No. 2). I thought this one would climb and not fall.
Table For Two, Nora Roberts, Silhouette Special Releases, No. 28 (debut).
Tempting Evil, Keri Arthur, Dell, $6.99, No. 29 (debut). With each release Arthur climbs higher up the Bestseller list. I thought the suspense in this one was compelling.
Simply Love, Mary Balogh, Dell, $6.99, No. 30. Mass market release of last year’s hardcover novel. Simply Magic is due out in a couple of weeks.

Irish Dreams, Nora Roberts (Silh Special Releasees), $7.99, No. 35 (Peak 2).
Cut And Run, Carla Neggers, Mira, $7.99, No. 36 (debut).
See No Evil Allison Brennan, Ballantine, $6.99, No. 41 (debut).
The Island, Heather Graham, Mira, $7.99, No. 45 (debut).
Plum Lovin’, Janet Evanovich, (St. Martin’s Press), $16.95 No. 46, (Peak 1)
And Then He Kissed Her, Laura Lee Guhrke, Avon, $6.99, No. 51 (debut). I was thinking that this was a pass for me, but Tara Marie’s mini review is making me look at it for a second time.

A Slice Of Heaven, Sheryl Woods, Mira, $6.99, No. 54 (debut).
A Dangerous Man, Candace Camp, HQN, $6.99, No. 60 (debut).
No Safe Place, JoAnn Ross (Pocket Books), $7.50, No. 61 (debut.).
The Survivors, Dinah McCall (Mira), $6.99, No. 62 (debut).
McKettrick’s Luck, Linda Lael Miller (HQN), $7.99, No. 63 (Peak 8).
Final Truth, Mariah Stewart (Ballantine Books), $7.99, No. 65 (debut). I bought this as a hardcover and still haven’t read it.
The Dream-Hunter, Sherrilyn Kenyon, St. Martin’s Paperbacks, $7.99, No. 68 (Peak 3).

Lover Revealed, J.R. Ward (Onyx), $7.99, No. 76 (debut). So much for the laydown date. I think everyone and their cousin bought it early.
The Scent of Shadows, Vicki Pettersson (Eos), $6.99, No. 82 (debut). Eos is the imprint for Kelley Armstrong whom I adore so I may give this one a try.
Wrong Place, Wrong Time, Andrea Kane (Avon), $7.99, No. 92 (debut).
Hard To Handle, Diana Palmer (HQN), $13.95, No. 94 (debut). Palmer is one of Sybil’s guilty pleasures.

The Taste of Innocence, Stephanie Laurens (William Morrow), $24.95, No. 97 (debut).
Most Likely to Die (Zebra Fiction), Lisa Jackson, Beverly Barton, Wendy Corsi Staub (Zebra),$7.99 No. 111 (Peak 5). Fell from 17.
Too Wicked to Tame, Sophie Jordan (Avon), $5.99, No. 113 (debut).
New Moon, Rebecca York (Berkley), $7.99, No. 115 (debut). I thought the girl on this cover looked very alien-ish.

Tongue In Chic, Christina Dodd, Signet, $7.99, No. 115 (Peak 17). Was 34 last week.
The Winter Lodge, Susan Wiggs (MIRA), $7.99, No. 117 (Peak 13).
Causing Havoc, Lori Foster (Berkley), $7.99, No. 121 (Peak 13).
Highland Warrior, Connie Mason (Leisure), $6.99, o. 122 (debut). Sometimes I get Connie Mason and Cassie Edwards mixed up in my mind. I don’t know why. Is it the covers?
The Marcelli Princess, Susan Mallery (Pocket Star), $6.99, No. 130 (debut).

All Night Long, Jayne Ann Krentz (Jove), $7.99, No. 146 (Peak 33).
