Nora Roberts’ High Noon Spotted Early
Can’t wait until July 10th for Nora Roberts High Noon and don’t mind paying near full price for a bunch of bytes that you really don’t own and will have to read on your laptop or handheld? I totally understand. Ereader is offering High Noon for $24.95 today, which is five days before its scheduled in-store release.
eReader must have some kind of exclusive agreement with Penguin for this deal. I remember when the last In Death was offered weeks in advance.

They may have a “deal” on this book, but the “In Death” release was a mistake! It was offered early at Fictionwise, too, but was removed more quickly. Apparently, the ebook supplier had miscoded the release date…I don’t remember exact dates, but it was something like: supposed to release 11/7, but listed as 7/11.
How do I know, because when it showed up at Fictionwise, I tried to buy it! They took my money, but the book wouldn’t download. When I sent an email about it, they refunded the purchase price and explained that it was an error in the release date encoding.
