Sadly it appears that "more than 80% of multimillionaires who had extra-marital lovers planned to cut back on their gifts and allowances." What can this mean for the venerable line of Harlequin Present's Forced Mistress' Secret Babies stories? Will they survive? The whole blog post is a hoot and I loved the part about the wage inequality. It seems that the female multimillionaire's bought lover earns more than the male millionaire's mistress. Via TNR .

It seems so. Or at least, the only reality show I’ve seen about people competing for no other reason than a chance to be a toy is Jerry Hall’s show Kept on VH1. It was interesting, to say the least. Only lasted one season though. Wonder why? *rme*
Well, there goes another career ambition. I’m *always* too late to the party.
I’m always amazed at the questions people will answer on a survey. Did they start out with more general questions about the economy and build up to the the questions about extramarital activities? Shows that the old days, when no one would admit to having a mistress, much less what she was paid, are definitely gone. How do you vet a survey like this for accuracy? I’m clearly way too sheltered, or maybe just not rich enough (make that, definitely not rich enough).
HQ seems to have upped the average to Billion insted of Millionaires, so they should be alright.
