According to an interview with the NYTimes, Amazon spokesperson divulged this:
“We are excited to make Kindle books available on a range of mobile phones,” said Drew Herdener, a spokesman for Amazon. “We are working on that now.”

I think this goes along with that article we were talking about where Amazon bought Mobi and will now be offering both formats. Be interesting to see how it all works out…

I got a SONY e-reader for Xmas, but my contract on my Razor cellphone is up this summer and I’ve been torn between getting a crackberry or an iPhone. I think this development just cinched it in favour of the iPhone.
