Jet Book ebook Reader at Bed Bath and Beyond
The superstore Bed, Bath and Beyond is currently stocking or will be stocking soon the Jet Book ebook Reader. The Reader will come preloaded with English and Spanish classics (or Spanish translation of English classics) and the Bible. The Jetbook reads drm’ed formats: epub and Mobipocket.
As Mikou points out, the Jet Book is a TFT reader and not an eink device as I originally thought.

I would love to hear some user feedback on this and how it compares to Sony, Kindle, etc. I was just at BBB looking for a kitchen thingie (I am expert! See my technical terms!), only our local BBB is so small it’s more like Bed Bath & Behind instead of Beyond.

There is a review out there for the Jet Book at http://www.geardiary.com/2009/03/09/the-ectaco-jetbook-universal-portable-reading-device-review/ .
Personally, if I’m going to spend ~$300 for an eReader, I’ll spend it to get the Sony.

went to http://www.jetbook.net – the typos/misspellings in the comparison picture are disturbing . . . .

I just wanted to point out that the jetBook is not an eInk reader. It has a TFT screen. It seems to have a nice form factor and a good selection of compatible formats. I would consider it if I didn’t already have 2 readers (Sony and Ebookwise).

I want to point out that the Jetbook can NOT read drm’ed books.
