Jet Blue Allows Passengers to Pay with Paypal
I know this isn’t book related but I absolutely love paypal. I have been a Paypal user since 2000 and use it whenever I can. This morning I read that Jet Blue will allow its passengers to pay with their Paypal accounts. I hope other major vendors (like bookstores) will allow this soon.

I use the Paypal plugin that lets me generate a one-time use credit card number for sites that don’t take Paypal. I love it because now I can use Paypal for all my online shopping and not my actual credit card.
I thought another airline would let you use Paypal, but maybe it was Jet Blue’s website I was on. I’ve been on so many lately, I can’t remember.

Yeah, everyone loves Paypal until they do something like relocate to another country. Then they realise that it’s not the simple process of just setting up a new credit card/account link. Oh noes, you have to close your current Paypal account (and would you like to donate your entire Paypal balance to a charity, madam? Or transfer it to a linked bank account, which is an option not available for all countries?) and open a brand-new one and go through the whole rigmarole all over again in order to get Verified.
I get royalties paid to my PayPal account. So the only way forward for me is to send my Paypal remainder to my new account (of which Paypal will then take a second “handling fee”). Going through this process now, so I’m particularly grumpy.
