Census Bureau Reports Bookstore Sales Down
Bookstore sales in November were $1.092 billion, down 1.7%, from $1.111 billion in the same month in 2005, according to preliminary estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau. The Bureau revised October sales downward to $1.003 billion from $1.006 billion.
Note: CB does not account for direct mail, online sales, or direct sales. How backward of them.

hee I was going to ask if this accounted for online sales… I would love to see a break out. Instore vs online vs direct mail vs direct sales for someone like Borders and some indie.
But I am odd like that.
