Amazon.Com Offers Exclusive Look at Kite Runner Author’s Sophomore Effort
You can download and read a 3 page excerpt of Khaled Hosseini’s new book, A Thousand Splendid Suns, as well as listen to an interview podcast with the author. The download is in PDF format. I was disappointed by the fact the PDF does not reflow. In other words, when I made the window smaller, the text didn’t “reflow” to fit the size of the screen, it just made the document smaller (and unreadable).
Let’s hope that if Amazon does come out with a reader, it’s PDFs are actually usable.
