Jane Litte is the founder of Dear Author, a lawyer, and a lover of pencil skirts. She self publishes NA and contemporaries (and publishes with Berkley and Montlake) and spends her downtime reading romances and writing about them. Her TBR pile is much larger than the one shown in the picture and not as pretty. You can reach Jane by email at jane @ dearauthor dot com

That is particularly annoying as I have been gritting my teeth and boycotting these last few months.

Well, just think of it this way Meriam. Their sales could have been up several percentage points more if they hadn’t been assholes, because there are a lot of us doing the same thing and going elsewhere.

There area a lot of things combining to give Amazon a push– weak dollar against the Euro– lots of their sales are outside of North America, high price of gas makes shopping on line more attractive and Amazon’s really great customer service (in my experience). It’s very rare a week goes by without a box or a download from Amazon coming into the office.
