All of Amazon’s activities in the last few months have resulted in nothing negative despite the bad press. Total revenue was up 41% in the second quarter. Total media sales rose 32% and net income rose 102%.

That is particularly annoying as I have been gritting my teeth and boycotting these last few months.
Well, just think of it this way Meriam. Their sales could have been up several percentage points more if they hadn’t been assholes, because there are a lot of us doing the same thing and going elsewhere.
They aren’t exactly suffering for the loss of a few of us are they.
There area a lot of things combining to give Amazon a push– weak dollar against the Euro– lots of their sales are outside of North America, high price of gas makes shopping on line more attractive and Amazon’s really great customer service (in my experience). It’s very rare a week goes by without a box or a download from Amazon coming into the office.
