Waaaah! I’ve been a fan of his most of my life. Rendezvous with Rama is one of the best hard sf novels ever. He was one of the greats.
Gosh, two legends die on the same day. I was so shocked to hear about Anthony Minghella dying.
The Talented Mr Ripley was one of my fave films. He was far too young to die.
One of my all-time favorite Sci-Fi authors. He will be sorely missed.
