DABWAHA 2014 Get Your Game On

dabwaha banner

What is DABWAHA? It is a tournament of books. We pit 64 books against each other, fill out brackets predicting who will win, and vote vote vote. There is trash talking, gif posts, videos, and hopefully even more this year.

The DABWAHA bracket is ready to be filled out. Just click on “New” and enter your identification. Only the Nickname will show up publicly.  Then click on the title of the book you will think will each match until you have only one book left as your Champion.  The tie breaker is the number of reader nominations we received in total for the last 8 slots in the tournamnet.

The prizes have been posted.  We have a ton of awesome prizes for winners of each round as well as prizes for the worst bracket and iPads for the winning author and winning bracketologist.

This calendar will help keep you up to date on the voting in the different rounds.

You can also view the calendar here if the widget doesn’t load.

Everything happens at, including prize announcements, round winners and prize awarding.

64 Books. One Winner. Game on!

Jane, is there a way to print the brackets in their order or save them? I don’t want the voting page to time out while I research. Thanks.

Jane, thank you for putting up the results of previous year’s tournaments! I had emailed SB Sarah asking for it. Not that that was necessarily the reason you did it, but thanks regardless. I mean to gaze at it to make bracket picks :-)

Thank you! I definitely missed that.

Love the short time after the brackets are entered but voting hasn’t started so my bracket is actually possible. As soon as voting starts it is usually shot :p

I had to go with my favorite book to win.

After 3 tries of entering my picks from my iPhone, I give up for the night! I keep swiping back or hitting something I shouldn’t & it kicks me out. (*MY* fault, not DABWAHA’s!)
I have resolved to go in to work 1/2 an hour early, so I can use the desktop. …this also gives me more time to ponder the tie-breaker number. ;)
