Those Sidney Sheldon deals are great. I bought two of his titles that I read and enjoyed: If Tomorrow Comes and Rage of Angels. I’ve always said I would love to try more of his work. Will check out the others, thanks.

Sidney Shelon was one of my guilty pleasures in hs. I learned a lot of interesting / shocking things from him and Judith Krantz and Jackie Collins. Is this is the one where she’s interrupted during a robbery so she answers the door in a sexy nightgown and mud mask and is never identified?

@cleo: I know! Wasn’t it in The Other Side of Midnight that the heroine, when asked her opinion on her first sight of a man’s penis (of which he was inordinately proud) replied “turkey neck and two gizzards”? Oh, the places you’ll go, the things you’ll learn while reading.

Jane, did my comment get a timeout because I used a word that starts with “p” and rhymes with “venus”?

@Darlynne – Yes, not only was it flagged but it was sent direct to the spam folder. Maybe it is Penis + turkey neck and two gizzards?

I’m drawing a blank. I’m sure as soon as I hit “post comment” I’ll figure it out but… NA?
New Adult.
It worked!

From Notting Hill with Love… Actually is in my opinion an awful book. DNF.
Dec 23, 2012 @ 16:08:52
What does NA stand for?
Dec 23, 2012 @ 17:09:13
@Pam Keener: New Adult.
@pooks: LOL. I should stop using acronyms.

I thought, “I know what YA is,” and then slapped my forehead.

Thanks for the tip on From Notting Hill…as someone who mostly gets books from the library, I was bummed to discover that mine didn’t have it but now I have my own free copy! Hopefully I’ll like it more than leslie above.

Picked up the NA book, based on genre alone. So yay for links.
I’m assuming all the Laurens books are full, not a novella or anything? I saw them the other day but I wasn’t sure if they were worth the price.
