Tor’s Giveaway is Touch of Evil by CT Adams and Cathy...

logo.gifTor started giving away a free ebook version of one of its print publications every week. This week’s book is Touch of Evil by C.T. Adams and Cathy Clamp. (Direct link).   This is one of the books in Tor’s paranormal romance line.

You have to sign up for their newsletter to get the email. In the email will be a direct link to a PDF, HTML or Mobi version of the book. It is DRM free so you can read it on any device without restrictions.

Jane Litte is the founder of Dear Author, a lawyer, and a lover of pencil skirts. She self publishes NA and contemporaries (and publishes with Berkley and Montlake) and spends her downtime reading romances and writing about them. Her TBR pile is much larger than the one shown in the picture and not as pretty. You can reach Jane by email at jane @ dearauthor dot com

Thanks for the link and reminder. I’ve been meaning to sign up for a while, and finally did today.

An aside: I hate that the highest age category on the sign-up’s survey is “30+”. My early thirties won’t last much longer, damnit! They should at least pretend they think 30-35 is a demographically different age bracket from 60-65.

I have hope – although I’ll admit it’s a cynical one – that they’ll release the remaining series books for this (and the other books they’ve offered free in e-versions for the promotion).

I think it will be too much to hope for, though, that if/when they offer books for sale, they will continue to be DRM-less.
