Grand Central Promotional Ebooks
Grand Central Publishing which houses Warner Forever, Hachette, Orbit and the like believe that low ebook publishing can seed more sales. I agree with this and want to publicize their efforts as much as possible. Grand Central offers these promotions to all etailers and its up to the etailer to pick it up and carry it.
This month, Orbit, the science fiction/fantasy arm, is featuring a $1.00 ebook promotion for Once Bitten, Twice Shy by Jennifer Rardin.
In celebration of Latino month, the following two titles are $2.99
The Night Gardener by George Pelecanos will be made available on May 12, 2009 for $1.99.

OK, I may just be tired and need
a cupa pot of coffee, but where do I go to take advantage of all these deals?May 01, 2009 @ 12:47:16
@Debbie Sorry! I scheduled this thinking I would be back in time to fix it up, but apparently not. Am going to rework it. Basically, though, these are the ebook deals from Hachette and Orbit.

I <3 GCP and love the one dollar books. I’ve heard good things about the Jaz Parks books and just put Once Bitten, Twice Shy into my Sony Cart.
Free/Low cost ebooks def gets more sales from me (e and print)! As an example, Samhain has gotten much money from me based off freebie and samples that get me hooked into a story or author.

Joy,
I agree. I bought Christine Warren’s ‘Wolf at the Door’ when they recently re-released it for like $3 or $4. I liked it so much, I went out and bought the rest of the series at regular cover price. It’s a brilliant marketing strategy, IMO.
