Most of my top books were in the B+ range. I think I only had 2 that were A- grades. I’m not sure if I was being pickier this year or just didn’t read books that wowed me.

I read “To Beguile a Beast” after reading the review, it’s definitely one of my top 10 for 2009. Furthermore, this book introduced me to Elizabeth Hoyt who is now an autobuy author for me. I also read Kasey Michaels “To Woo a Spinster” which I truly liked. I am still on the fence about this author, but I certainly will read her future work.

I was delighted to see Kasey Michaels’ How To Woo a Spinster on your list of top 10 romances of 2009. I absolutely loved this little gem of a novella and thought it packed a lot of character development and emotion into so short a story. It really made me believe in love at first site and that there is such a thing as a person recognizing their soul mate in an instant. In some respects I would have loved a longer story, but another part of me loved it just the way it is.
How wonderful to see the “I Do!” anthology there. Thank you for including us in the list!

I agree with several things on your list, particularly the Elizabeth Hoyt book. While I enjoyed her whole Four Soldiers series, To Beguile a Beast was my favorite.
