Thursday Haiku Review Moment: The Last Hellion by Loretta Chase

Amazon grendel
is charming, lord vere is too.
bertie, not so much
headstrong reporter
debauched earl meet-cute in street
banter, love ensue
she wins the horse race
Vere wins her heart. And Tamsin?
Short end of stick, sigh.
Vere + Grenville: love
Tamsin…ends up with Bertie
Why, Loretta, why???
New to Chase books, hmm?
Ignore the bloated pink head
This is a good book.

I believe you are poetizing The Last Hellion, not Lord of Scoundrels.

Excellent haiku!
Need to put this on my “to read” list. I liked “Not Quite a Lady.”

Yes, what’s with that weird head? The saga of lacklustre Chase covers continues…

I agree with Daphne, I heart the review haiku too. It’s a joy to read such cleverness!

I loved this book more than Lord of Scoundrels, Grenville by far my favorite Loretta Chase heroine!!

It’s always been an A book for me. And, I’ve been wanting to have a copy for my very own….
But, wow! That is an OOOOOGLY cover! Maybe I’ll wait for the next re-print.
