I completely agree about The Iron Duke! I also heartily second the recommendations for Scoundrel, Butterfly Swords and Trial By Desire. What a great month for books!
Two other excellent historical romances released this month are The Dangerous Viscount by Miranda Neville and A Season of Seduction by Jennifer Haymore.

Just noting that Pricks and Pragmatism released at Samhain on 21st of September, not October. But the Wren is an October release.

Well, it’s a good sign that four of the books listed are already in my Kindle, waiting to be read. I will have to peek at that Scoundrel review, as I’ve been hearing about the book for months now.

I’m reading Scoundrel by Zoe Archer at the moment and loving it. I think all the great reviews of The Iron Duke may push me into buying it — when budget allows.
