1st: Except the Queen. I have enjoyed everything I've ever read with Jane Yolen's name on it.
2nd: The Spirit Lens. Carol Berg is a new-to-me author I'd like to try.
(tie)
2nd: Sword of Avalon. I'd like to give Diana Paxson another chance -- the other Avalon titles that she has written without MZB's input didn't really do it for me.

So many wonderful authors, including Robin McKinley, publish with Ace/Roc, that I can't pick a favorite. But I highly recommend Ann Aguirre's Sarantha Jax series, starting with Grimspace. SOOO good!

1st choice: Spirit Lens by Carol Berg -- she is great
2nd choice: Torn by Julie Kenner -- have read the 1st in this series and loved it

I love being a "book pusher" but it is too hard to choose just one author or title so, I would have to say Patricia Briggs (particularly the Alpha/Omega series), Charlaine Harris (Sookie Stackhouse series), J D Robb (In Death series), Tanya Huff, Robin McKinley, Alyssa Day and Ann Aguirre. Some of these are authors that I have followed for years and others I have just recently started to read. I also have to second Barb (#11) who says that she loves ACE for releasing the Liaden books by MIller and Lee.

Thanks ACE/ROC for the great giveaway
