And Jayne, I was sent the US copies ahead of time, which is why you were sent one. Otherwise the book would definitely have got caught up in the postal strike!

@Carol Townend: I'm just glad you got it to me before the Royal Mail shutdown. I'm also surprised that the copy you sent me has the US cover and not the Mills & Boon one. Emma's definitely not in a snuggie on that one! ;)

Dear Jayne
Many thanks for reviewing Runaway Lady, Conquering Lord. When I wrote the first book in the series, it was in my mind to only write two novels, one for each of the sisters, with the idea that the first sister was all innocence while the second – Emma in this one – was most certainly not! At the time I had no idea who the hero of the second book might be. And then – the creative process is a mysterious thing – two more books came into my head, demanding to be written and so it is that Emma’s story is the fourth Wessex Wedding.
I am glad you like Richard, a reader on the Harlequin Community Chat Boards suggested him as a possible hero.

And Gwen, I have no idea what Emma is wearing, are you looking at the UK cover or the US one? The UK cover is the one on Jayne’s review. (We don’t have Snuggies in the UK!!)
