Ah, the health hazards of being strenuously gracious. I’ve found it helps to stick a sock in my mouth before I read reviews of my books; it keeps down the number of cracked teeth resulting from a clenched jaw as I type Thank you. ;-)

While I winced on behalf of some of my fellow authors, I was pleased you liked my story! Thanks for reading and reviewing this and the previous volume.

I don’t have any full-length novels yet (I’m trying to work up the word count gradually!) but I have some more short stories coming out soon and am working on a novella. :)

I have a really hard time finding romantic anthologies that keep me reading. It stinks when I find a really terrific one, then run out and buy the next volume, only to realize it is filled with rejects – which happens too often in this genre. I finally gave up and try to find individual stories that work for me as a (fickle) reader.

The breakdown of stories was really informative. I rarely see that in reviews, but it added something “extra.”

Thank you for taking the time to read and review the book, as well as my story. I do have to point out, however, that it’s not a definite that Felix immediately quits whoring…he says “it’s almost time for me to retire, anyway”. It was meant to imply he’s going to start phasing out of it. I apologize that it wasn’t more clear — looking at it again, I can completely understand the misinterpretation. (I’m still a newb at this writing thing, lol).

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed our story, despite the issues you had with the POV and the ‘pretty baby’ endearment. :) And since you mentioned buying the story separately, it will be available on its own next spring, along with 6 other shorts featuring the same characters in a print/ebook collection of their own.

I’m sorry the anthology as a whole didn’t work for you, however. But thank you for taking the time to read and review it!
