Well, yay for the compliment of the book being picked up for my name. But I am sorry you didn’t find Reluctant or many of the other stories to your taste.

I do have a new book out with Abigail; maybe that might help with the disappointment over this one.

I really enjoyed this anthology and most of Sindustry II as well. “Fun and Games” was my favorite story, too.

I'm strangely fascinated by this particular profession and by how the HEA is achieved or dealt with in light of the prostitution.

With a story only ~30 pages long, I’m afraid reality would conk me over the head as related to this aspect of the stories.

But awesome job condensing the plot and your thoughts for this many stories into one review!

Hmm. I read an excerpt of Sindustry when it was released, but didn’t buy because the excerpt (most of the first story, I think) didn’t work for me: ended up wondering about the entire concept of a relationship following paid/professional interaction. Sounds like some of the stories make this worth looking at again.
