Well this has never happened to me before: I was at the local supermarket (OK, that part has happened) and I was cruising through the supermarket books and I “knew” this one and the Mistress to the Merciless book from the DA reviews.

Nothing tempted me today but you never know, maybe next week’s selection will speak to me. It was lovely, though, to see Susan Wiggs’s medieval on the shelves :)

@Jayne: I don't think so. I'm not really sure why the long wait. I pretty much have moved to romantic suspense and paranormal romance when I saw the book and I thought "oh, I haven't read Anne McAllister in a long time.." Then, I saw the characters names and realised who they were and quickly grabbed it. :)

I was actually surprise to see book published under the Presents line. Its a offshoot of the author's Code of the West series (under Silhouette Desire) and you get to see when Flynn and Sara first met in The Great Montana Cowboy Auction (which is a must read for all Anne McAllister fans). I was so excited to have finally read their book. Been waiting for 6 years.

Wow, that’s a long wait. Glad you finally got your payoff. Do sequels often jump lines like that?

I just wish I’d read it when it was first released and it definitely would have been one of my recs for that month. Can I say how much I love the Harlequin ebook backlist?
