Niveau, you're right, Two Weeks in the Magnate's Bed isn't ansty at all.

It's a tad confusing for Presents readers, because 2 Presents releases a month are books from the M&B Modern Heat series (one of the series I write for) so those books will be more fun, flirty, with less angst.

Hope you enjoy the book, Mary!

Personally I loved this book but I'm also a fan of Abby Green's and Presents.

Having the man you lusted after be your best friend's brother would have been difficult. However, their attraction for each other leaped off the pages and I found Kate's relationship with his daughter Rosie, dear.

... I'll keep a weather eye open for this at my fave UBS ... it must be a reflection of all the RL tasks that keep reaching out to me that all I want to do is play a Harlequin title game ... how about (and I know the tenses don't quite match up): Captivated by a Cruel Croesus?

@MaryK The Nicola Marsh one wasn't particularly angsty, imo. The Jennie Lucas, on the other hand, was pretty much angsty from the first page onwards. I had fun with it - it was so over-the-top that I couldn't take it seriously, so I just went along for the ride.

I'm glad to see this one is good (I'm all about the HP angst). I picked it and the Nicola Marsh up this month, both new to me authors. At some point, I'd made a mental note to buy one of the September HPs, but the author and title didn't stick - just the Sept. HP part. :(

Jane: Sorcha isn't Tiarnan's daughter, she's his sister. She's also Kate's best friend. The daugher's name is Rosie.
