This one made me think of Jane Austen's "Persuasion". That is my favorite of Jane Austen's work. I bought the novella yesterday and I have to say I loved it. I may give a go to this series. I liked the author's writing style, though I don't read regencies frequently (except for Barbara Metzger's).
