I just finished this book this afternoon…it’s a page turner for sure!

I really liked this – it has a balance of romance, sex, mystery and interesting (not overwhelming) geography/biology aspects. I learned alot! It’s a well-written story, I didn’t see the ending coming and the plot holds together well. These were characters I cared about and HAD to know what was going to happen next for them.

I also enjoyed and recommend the previous book, Crash Into Me. A different setting but the same well-drawn characters with believable problems and hang-ups.

I love Jill Sorenson. I loved her after only one book. My first introduction to her was her Silhouette Romantic Suspense. I loved it so much I sent her a gushing fan girl letter. It was really hard to put my finger on just why it made such an impression on me, but I think “gritty” is a good word to describe her writing. She writes wonderfully flawed, sometimes quirky, but very real characters. I am so looking forward to whatever she does next. I’m hoping she has a long career in writing romantic suspense.

I should also add, I don’t know her from Adam lol. I discovered her through my love of category books. She isn’t paying me to say this nor do I get bribed with ARCs of her books although I think I may have to do some creative begging….

I loved her first book, Crash Into Me?, but have not read this one. The quote from Cindy Gerard intrigues me . . . I am a forgiving reader so sounds like it is a book I’m going to like.
Key is it is character driven so she’s pretty much won me over ;)
