I’ve just finished and enjoyed this book. I didn’t need the explanations that Jane had problems with. It was a good read. Not great, but good. I would probably rate it a B.

Do I need to read Wicked Burn first or is this a standalone*?

*will be very shocked if it is because everything seems to be part of a series now. :D

I’ve been looking forward to this one ever since I read Wicked Burn and then the excerpt from this one. I love ghost/time travel romance. The key is to set aside all disbelief and just ‘go for it’. From your review I can take comfort I think, that the issues that tripped you up won’t be a problem for me. I’m far from an expert on erotic romance – so far I’m not sure I’m even up to my ankles, but I really enjoyed Wicked Burn and what impressed me was how good the story was. The storyline in this one sounds even more up my alley.
