I have all 7 Love at Stake books and love them (well, at least the first 5 since I haven't had time to read the last to). I just read parts of this interview to my co-worker and she was laughing out loud when I explained the lop-sided eater thing in Roman's book to her. I had to promise her to lend her HOW TO MARRY A MILIONNAIRE VAMPIRE - and hopefully, she'll like it enough that she'll want to buy her own set of books, too! I confess I haven't read any of the historical stuff, but I have all of the vampire books and I love them. Written with a lot of action - good guys and bad guys, a sense of humor that isn't to overpowering, and great love scenes. My favorite is of course the first, How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire, but I think that just may be replaced with the upcoming entry of Forbidden nights - I've always had a thing about shifters! I have to tell you that For Love or Country is a true favorite of mine. I have re-read it several times and have wished for more ..... I don't think it had the publicity it deserved. It was funny, clever and was a standout for an American historical. I encourage all to give it a try even if American Revolution Historicals are not what you usually grab. Great first sale story!
