Me too Tae. And this is better than the usual "take off her ugly glasses and slap some make-up on her then she looks like a supermodel" story. She's already spiffed herself up somewhat from her high school days - and let's be honest, how many of us looked that hot then? So much of the story is her "mental Cinderella" change into believing this handsome guy is actually interested in her.

Missing books in the bookstore is yet another reason I love ebooks. I used to have to hunt down category books or resort to buying online since they sell out so quicky in bookstores. I hope you manage to get your hands on a copy as it's a fun book to read.

ev, what you say makes sense and is something I'll keep in mind when the subject comes up again.

although they weren't athletes, they all tend to be farmers, carpenters, plumbers and car mechanics. All damn good talents to have around.

Oh, absolutely! My trusted car mechanic makes more than I do.

I have been wanting to read this book, however it is sold out. I have to wait until this Tuesday when the booksellers come and restock shelves and hope that I can grab a copy.

Tanya is a wonderful author and I have enjoyed many of her past books, so this review just makes me want to get my hands on it even more. LOL I also am a huge fan of all books with sport hero's. I love the athlete and all their insecurities and alpha maleness. LOL

Nice review. I can understand why so many dyslexics tend to be athletes, or in someone who works with their hands. I come from a family of dyslexics although they weren't athletes, they all tend to be farmers, carpenters, plumbers and car mechanics. All damn good talents to have around.

Dyslexics, in the past, tend to find other ways to shine and take the spotlight off what they can't do, instead of being made fun of or ostracized. Now that it is not such a big stigma as it was and help is available, it would be nice to see that change. Too many times someone has been called stupid because no one knew what was wrong. Oddly enough, their IQ's tend to be high. go figure.

So what I am basically saying, is that the plot of dyslexic, athletic hero really doesn't bother me because I can relate to it.

Me, I only got the directional dyslexia as I call it- I point left and say right, can't read a map, but never get lost in a mall parking lot (or a mall)! Hubby has decided that that is a handicap though!
