I was really enjoying it (worldbuilding, etc) till they started lusting after each other (practically immediately). I prefer it when the attraction grows and builds up as the hero and heroine get to know each other. Makes the consumation that much more poignant when it happens. When I read the first love scene, I was thinking, this could end up a one night stand or a hea. Emotionally didn't resonate with me very much. Even their resistance seemed pretty token. I think that is sometime a weakness with recent romance novels I have picked up - there is such a rush to jump into bed, the characters almost feel forced into it before they are ready.
