I love your story, Miranda. I chuckled over your Rejection Streamlining joy. Two today? yay! How ironic it is that aspiring writers can speak with such happiness about good quality rejections. But, they do mean a writer is making progress.

And thank goodness you recognize the importance of pastry in a plot. Lots of writers just don’ get it. Such a pity!

What a great story Miranda! My editor at Avon does mostly historical (I write paranormal) and it’s one of the reasons I started reading them again. I’m happy to say historicals are a must for me once more! Kudos on your new release, I have it in, and plan on cracking it open this weekend!

OK I’m back on my chair. Thank you sooo much Daniel. Hopefully my next book will be finished soon – I have a contract for two more.

Jayne: With electronic submissions and email rejections I fear for the future of wallpaper. I bet JRR Tolkien’s rejections came handwritten on beautiful heavy notepaper with engraved letterheads. I bet his bathroom was really cool.
