Perhaps its because tributes from the outer districts almost always die, but the inner districts are stronger and more confident that they will win.

I totally loved the book! I wish that Suzanne would write a more mature version for adults such as where Peeta and Katniss share a sleeping bag. In the real world, things would heat up. Housewives would love it including me. Adding sex to the story would add more tension to the arena between alliances and foes.

she didn’t put the capitol kids thru hell. don’t you get it? she SHOT Coin bc of prim’s death, and so that there wouldn’t be a hunger games for the capitol kids now that there’s no Coin.

I absolutley loved gale i felt she shouldhave picked him. Peeta tryed to strangle her i dont care how brain washed you were thats just wrong.. and like Katniss says in the end he will never be the same. I really want more of the book. Someone needs to post more books like this one even tough im pretty sure none can top this.! i still dont clearly understand why she would put the capital kids throught the hell that she a peeta went through, the way she describes it, i would never vote yes.I think Peeta is a sweetheart but he was all for the cameras even though im sure he truly loved her he was never really for off camera affection. as where Gale was more of the secretive kiss when she didnt expect it type person. You can never tell whether he is or isn`t going to kiss her. But with Peeta you know it`s coming. I ABSOLULEY LOVED THESE BOOKS. AND I RECCOMEND THEM TO EVEYONE.

I love peeta he is so sweet.I also feel that katniss and peeta have been through so much together they need to get together. Even though Katniss grew up with gale she didnt go through as much with him and save his life.

I absolutely loved this series! I don’t think this particular author knows how to finish strong, but under the given circumstances I think this was as happy an ending as she could give us. And I was extremely grateful to the author for pairing Katniss with Peeta in the end! I always believed Peeta was the best match for her!

@TeamGale17 I don’t understand why you’re under the impression that Johanna died. She did not die. Don’t you remember she was there at the end when President Coin assembled the remaining victors to vote on wether they should hold one last hunger games using capitol children? In which she voted yes.

@mona: I agree with you, Mockingjay needed a better ending! I hope the Maze Runner series ends soon! James Dashner apparently just finished the final book of it, and I'm really excited for it! You should read Maze Runner and Scorch Trials so we can both get obsessed over that series too!

Mockingjay really killed me! Everyone I wanted to play a positive part in Katniss’s life, died or moved away! Did anyone else notice that Johanna died? She was my favorite female character! I hope The Maze Runner series ends a lot better than The Hunger Games! James Dashner just finished Death Cure! Rumor is, Maze Runner’s being made into a movie! You should read it to get over The Hunger Games! Lets make Maze Runner as famous as Hunger Games. But I must confess, Hunger Games will always hold a special place in my heart!

okay, so i read all of the books obviously :) and they are all amazing<3 the ending of mockingjay totally shocked me, i didnt expect the ending with prim at all. because that's basically what started the whole series and katniss wanted to save her more than anyone. it just broke my heart

so i loved the book but the endings are so…. well not the best.But Suzzane collins is a good author with making you want more but she has to make a better ending in the third book but over all it was THE BEST BOOK SERIES I HAVE EVER READ!

Okay,Peeta is amazing and everything, but Gale is still Katniss’s “soul~mate”. He does a lot for Katniss! He does everything he can to help her and keep her out of harms way! I can’t believe that you would change to team Peeta! I still think that Peeta or Gale should have killed themselves or gotten killed! Suzanne Collins really needs to write a sequel series! Sorry if I kinda spoiled Mockingjay for you but hey, I read the book in a day! I’m totally obsessive. =~}
P.S. Make sure that you see the movie in 2013! Opening night baby!

ive read mockingjay[def the best book] and if you are team gale believe me you will change to team peeta once you read it. i wont give anything away but im just gonna say that peeta is 110% better than gale.

I was glad that Katniss did not have to kill very many tributes. Her kills were in defense for Rue and out of mercy for Cato. I think that is what made her character strong and noble. Instead of resorting to the nature of the games, she used her wit. Katniss could have taken aim with bow and arrow at any number of tributes and killed them on the spot but she didn’t.

What did you think of the clones at the end of the story? I found this part to be one of the most shocking scenes in the book about how far the Capitol is willing to go for entertainment. Even death is not the end.

I am every bit on team peeta and there are 3 very important reasones why.
1. i think katniss feels like she needs to be in love with gale but is falling in love with peeta.

2. katniss dosn’t need gale to protect her or hunt for her she can do all of that on her own i mean she did survie the the hunger ganes

3. i think she should go with peeta because is because he gives her i sence of love, care, and nurturing which she has not had since her father died.

i am very pro gale because, although katniss has been through a lot with peeta, she has and always will feel safe with gale. i think that peeta depends on katniss too much and acts somewhat childish while gale gives her the sense of security she will need after being through the games
