Well pooh! A couple of those Meijer stores were within a 1/2 hour of my house. Of course, finding out/reading about it a week after it happened would probably explain why I didn’t get there.

This was my second Levy tour and it was fabulous fun! Fans, authors, cat herders, and just anybody walking by all knew we were having a great time! I highly recommend it to everyone! Thanks for such a good wrap up Sherry!

I'm spoiled now living in CA, but when I lived in MI? Yeah, book signings were not a dime a dozen. I went to a Levy signing way, way, way back in 2001. Drove over 2 hours to the Detroit area, because come hell or high water I was going to meet Susan Wiggs! Kathleen Eagle was also on that bus tour. I was one happy girl, let me tell you. Sherry, you were in my hometown at the Meijer store where my Mom does her weekly grocery shopping LOL. Unfortunately on the day you were there, SuperMom was at work and SuperBigSister was being held hostage in nursing school. Told them one of them should have stopped by and dropped my name. Ha!

They were at the Meijer in Canton, MI, less than two miles from me. By the time I got there, the parking lot was full, the store was packed…*sigh* I MISSED THEM!!!! And yes, I’m shouting. But, I’m really so glad they came here. We might have one author a year come to this area so it was wonderful to see that Meijer organized something like this. (It doesn’t hurt that Meijer is based in Grand Rapids)

Maybe next time, I’ll just go camp out the night before…
