Once people have read War for the Oaks I hope they pick up her new novel Territory– Audible has a download which is what I listened to last week. It’s not Urban Fantasy– it’s Western Alternative History Fantasy but I thought it very good. There’s a sequel coming out so the story isn’t complete in one book.

War for the Oaks is probably the BEST urban fantasy I’ve ever read. And I’ve read a lot. :) It’s still one of my faves and it’s been years since I first read it.

Those of you who haven’t read WftO are in for such a treat! How I envy you the delight of reading it for the first time. This is THE definitive urban fantasy story, and I love it more every time I read it.

w00t! Freeeeebooks!!! From excellent authors!!! Excellent news (and proof that I check here before checking my commercial e-mail, because I’m sure there’s a message waiting for me from Tor).

Agreed that free e-books should be matched by e-books of the rest of the series, or you’ll never know how big the impact on sales could have been. Are you listening over there at Tor?

I’ve already downloaded it. This is a book I’ve always intended to read and never have.

Let me add one final thing and that is, Tor, if you keep giving ebooks away and don't have ebooks for the rest of the series for us ebook readers to buy, you are missing out on alot of sales.

I so totally, absolutely 200% agree with you on this. Get right up with the play, Tor. Halfway there barely counts.
