How funny… I have read in several reviews how people liked Grimspace better than Wanderlust, and I have to smile. I think the series got even better with the second novel myself :grin:

Heh, well, you’re not completely alone. I felt that way too. For me, things just came together a lot better, particularly the characters (which are extremely important to me in the reading) and I was more used to Ann’s writing style, so that didn’t bother me as it did a little in Grimspace.

I didn’t like this much as you did. I felt it was very fractured and episodic. I agree that many of the loose ends were tied up but it was hard for me to follow for quite a bit of the story and it took me days to finish it because of that. I wish that there had been more cohesiveness throughout the story rather than just at the end.
